Kristina Chetcuti read archaeology at university. After a few years of digging the past with a toothbrush and a trowel, she decided to start digging the present instead. She studied and trained as a journalist with the London School of Journalism and the Press Association. She has worked with words in radio, television and print, and has been a weekly columnist for The Sunday Times of Malta since 2008.
