José Louis Ocaña worked in 3-D computer graphics creating adverts and award-winning short films, which made it to the some of the most prestigious film festivals such as the Chicago Independent Film Festival, the San Diego Latino Film Festival, the Medina Film Festival and the AEAF in Australia. He now works as an illustrator for several international publishers in Spain, Lebanon, Malta, Kuwait, UAE, Chile and Mexico and his work has been exhibited in Paris, Madrid, Tarragona and Granada. 

José won the Terramaxka Prize for his illustrations on Il-kreatura tal-bir, and was also a winner at the XI Illustrated Awards Plastilina & Amigos (Cádiz, Spain).
